The play The Lost Colors of the Rainbow is a story about love, kindness and the importance of friendship. This beautiful adventure begins one sunny morning when Lila, a brave and good-hearted little girl, meets a very sad, gray rainbow that has lost all of its colors. The Rainbow is inconsolable and constantly crying. But Lila offers to help. So, with some help from Lila’s good friends (Wise Owl, White Jasmine, Basil, Red Rose, Sunflower, Dahlia, Hydrangea, Violet, Bellflower, Blue Jasmine), the seven lost colors of the rainbow finally return.
The play The Lost Colors of the Rainbow is aimed at preschool-aged children. It is based upon the bestselling children’s book “The lost colors of the rainbow” (by Delina Vasiliadi) published in 2017 by the Michalis Sideris Publishing House in Greece. In 2020 the book was awarded the First Prize by the literary magazine Kefalos and was declared “Book-Children’s Book of the year 2017”.
