Born in the island of Zacynthos, daughter of wealthy and high-rank officer, Eizabeth Moutzan Martinegou lived her whole life inside her family house. She made an unsuccessful attempt to escape to Italy, but she returned shocked by facing the world outside her home. She was home-schooled and self-taught in foreign languages. She wrote 24 theatre plays and translated plays by Italian and French writers, such as Moliere. She was forced to marry and she died during child-birth at the age of 31.

Produced at Theatre Action Athens Festival 2, at Theatre tis Anoixis (April 2007). By popular demand, the production continued at Theatre Paramythias (May 2007).
