Lenos Christidis

Nikos, the offspring of a rich Neo-Greek in the Greece of 2005, decides to leave his country and become a permanent resident of Thailand. There he will be visited by his best friend Yiorgos. Yiorgos is not the only visitor though, as Nikos’ parents and sister will also visit him. At the same time, a former classmate of both Nikos and Yiorgos, along with his girlfriend, will also visit the island. Hence, although Nikos tries to cut off all ties and live away from his family and social environment, he ends up spending a few days with all of them. These characters represent post-Olympic Greece and all its problems, whereas the two young men the hope of Greece, which lies however somewhere far, in this case…in Thailand.
