How Many Animals Constitute a Man?!, 2012

2 men - 1 woman (or 3 men)

Tsimaras Tzanatos

In the world of humans – represented in the play by ANTHROPOS, which is the main character – invades the banned animal element, from where came the human kind evolved.

It has the form of a sexless cockroach, Katsas, and it comes as a sarcastic angel-exterminator of the human civilization, posing outlandish questions:

What are species? What is gender? What is man? What is culture? What is language?

In this Arisophanes-like revolution against everything, Katsa will find an ally in the face of a human’s pet: the domestic cat Amélie. The three of them will get involved in an adventure, where they will deconstruct both the (human) civilization and themselves. The end will open to them the possibility of another world, a very different one that not even they could ever imagine.
