The play takes place in Piggiland. In this part of the world, it rains coins instead of raindrops. Every time it rains, the piggy banks dance a frenzied rain-dance trying to catch the coins in the slots on their backs. Some succeed and get rich, others remain empty. The rich live in fear though, for yellow wolves raid their land and smash them in order to get at the money inside them. The empty ones are also unhappy and most of them leave the land to seek their fortune elsewhere. The play follows the adventures of two close friends who manage to discover the terrible secret of a mysterious weatherman who is the cause of all their misfortunes, outwit him and bring safety and harmony on the banks of the piggy river.
