An evening dedicated to Modern Greek dramaturgy by Sokolis Publications

An evening dedicated to celebrate some of the recent works of Modern Greek dramaturgy is scheduled to take place on May 28th at 20:30, organized by Sokolis Publications. The event will take place at the atrium of the Arsakeion Megaro at the centre of Athens.

Sokolis publications will proudly present their own version of five Modern Greek plays that were performed during the 2014-2015 season:

  • Forgive me, written by Antonis and Konstantinos Koufalis
  • Wild Notes, written by Nina Rapi
  • Doors and Your True Story?, written by Chrisa Spilioti
  • Miss Misery, written by Tsimaras Tzanatos

The event will start with an opening speech from the playwright Vasilis Katsikonouris and the dramaturg and head of Greek Play Project, Irene Mountraki.

The discussion panel will include dramaturgs Konstantina Ziropoulou, Katerina Theodoratou, Yiorgos Sabatakakis as well as theatre historian Sissi Papathanasiou.
